What are your vices?? Things you know you shouldn't have as part of your regular diet but you can't help it. What are you doing about them (if anything)?

My big ones are carbs and juice...juice has SO MANY calories. What am I doing about it? I'm eatting 100% whole grain bread and I'm drinking only low calorie juice. I have recently discovered a president's choice pink lemonade with like one calorie per cup or something (regualr juice has upwards of 200) and it's SO SO SO good. I sit down and drink 1.5L at a time sometimes...YUM :D

Biscuits and gravy. The cafeteria where I work serves em and they are damn good. I love em, but I know a good part of the gut I'm carrying came from those damn things.

I usually use a 'C' clamp, because it's much more versatile. In situations where a 'C' clamp just won't do, I have a set of these...

Since I just rent, I don't have a workshop, so I have no need for one of these...

I know the spelling difference, pedanticman...

Cracking my jaw, knuckles, neck... Not really doing much to stop myself. After all these years, it's on a subconcious level and I do it more when I'm stressed.

Food in general is a vice, I really enjoy eating good food.

It's not a vice but I have a habit (annoying habit, according to some) of swaying from side to side when most people just stand still. I just can't do it.

Mine? Diet coke. I drink oodles of the stuff. I'm sure you'll be reading about the crazy pants lady who died of a coke overdose one of these days. :tardbang:

Ok Ok I stand corrected:

Gluttony IS a vice, Sheesh!

Caffiene and nicotine

they are all I have left

and I'm going to have to give them up :crying4:

The two I've bolded can have food products that you just LOVE but SHOULDN'T eat to much as part of them :p

heh heh heh so now the very act of
bringing sustenance to your body is a sin??? NOT!

well being 46 weighing 136 LBS and having a 7% body fat ratio

I guess I can feel that way...

yeah eating yourself into health problems prolly ain’t much different than
smokin’ crack but still can’t see the correlation..

I meant it's one of the seven deadly sins...is it not?

Gawd whare do I begin?

I smoke.

I drink too many soft drinks, though I have cut that in half or so.

Sausages...ANY sausages...I don't discriminate...Polish, Italian, brats, country sausage, hot dogs...you name it, if it's sausage I'll eat it.

I've been without alcohol since July 4 weekend, but I do enjoy a cold beer or twelve when my health allows.

Fried foods. I'm Southern...if it can be fried, I'll fry it. If it can't be fried I'll find a way to fry it. If it can be fried then smothered in gravy, all the better.

Bread. Ain't a meal without bread. Ain't a good meal without cornbread.

(Sheesh, and I wonder why I'm dying...)

I probably eat more salt than I should.

After all this medical crap started, I made several severe dietary changes. I all but eliminated some stuff, but most things I still eat, just in moderation. If I indulge in a chili cheese dawg and onion rings, I go salad for a couple days afterward. If I know I'm gonna go for wings and a brew overthe weekend, I tone it way down for a day or three before and then again the following day or two. It seems to be working with the exception of this latest flare up, which nothing could have prevented.

sodium laden snack foods. doritos, chips, saltines...
i try to not have any in the house. i dont buy them and i keep reminding her not to also.
i'm pretty good about not buying the stuff, but every once in awhile she'll come home from food shopping with a bag full of the stuff.
