You just tingle with joy when any environmental cause falters don't you?
You confuse "environmental" with "political". Most of these "environmental" causes are purely political. They seek to lower the standard of living, decrease the GDP, gain political power, decrease personal freedom, establish new extraconstitutional rights, eliminate private property rights, attack business and industry, elevate the "rights" of non-human species, and change the political system of the United States as well as other countries.
So when any of the above fail it does give me, not a tingle, but a sense of pride that the child in the crowd has pointed to the King and made those who will listen aware that the King has no clothes.
Ethanol is a false panacea for an imaginary problem which is propped up by a Hegelian Dialectic. The facts are now out there that the cure will be worse than the disease.
Some of us choose to acknowledge that; and we will continue to share it with those who will listen. Others among us prefer to continue sleeping.
