Im so amused. Now you seem to be making the argument that the republican party is the party of the rich be they rich "negros" or rich fat cat business types of all stripes. It is to their benefit to vote for (and buy) republicans because republicans generally have more hands off policy regarding things like tax breaks and environmental standards and corporate welfare and such. Whereas (I am lead to conclude through this argument) democrats represent the less empowered? Thanks for that logic there. I happen to think democrats have lots of issues of their own. But to call me racist because you feel the best you can do to help the non-rich and the non-well established is to "get government out of their way" is a joke. Welcome to reality people. Republicans certainly DO write off certain segments of the population. You can site all the Clarence Thomas's you like but we both know thats not the norm. If the republican party was such a wonderful party for the minority citizen then why is it that the voting discrepency is so massive? Shouldnt they be seeing the light and giving all their votes to republicans if its to their benefit to have school lunches cut and money for text books slashed while congress is allowing big businesses to use loop holes like off shore tax shelters? Why havent they seen the light then? The fact of the matter is the republicans know their constituency and the democrats know theirs. And the republican's constituency does not include a whole lot of "negros". At least not enough to make it worth their while to promote any more then token words of inclusion. anything else and they piss off their much larger right wing element and their religious fundamental element. so lets not pretend otherwise here.
Oh man, where to start where to start.
How about, why did you seperate rich negroes from other rich & why did you enclose negroes? Are they somehow different?
Democrats do not represent the less empowered. Republicans do not represent the rich. Neither represent anything more than their agendized power brokers with free flowing cash.
The (D) party purports itself to represent the "little guy". They tell the elderly that the (R)'s plan on destroying social security, infering the oldsters will take a ride on the carriage to hell right along with it. They tell the inner city children & their self-made victim parents that the mean old fat cats (the mean old white fat cats) plan on stopping payment on their food stamps & $5 a month housing. That the mean old rich white fat cats will end school provided breakfasts & lunches (sometimers the only meals these kids get :weep:
What a tragedy! What a downright shame!! All the while providing for their own & taking care of themselves. Start in block A, section 1...it's not the job of the federal government to provide meals for anybody in a state program. The secret is right in front of them. So bold & italicized it can't be missed but it's missed time after time after time.
Which takes us to the (R) party. They purport to care for nobody. They assume you can take care of your own. They know that with government not taking 20, 30, 40, 50 per cent of your earnings (meager as they may be) you
can care for yours. That is the secret. Take care of yours & I'll care for mine. The cat, never in the sack to begin with, is now out of the bag. A simple plan of the rich. They knew on their way to getting rich & they know it while staying rich. Wanna know what the simple plan is? Good, I'll tell you. Don't give your money away. If you must part with it, part with as little as possible. Once you've parted with it get as much back as possible. And for gods sake, never, ever, ever, let the government take one cent more than is absolutely necessary. They give it to people who don't kwow how to follow this rule & they waste it. They also tend to quit trying to get their own once it's become a freebie program.
So, in short, the (D) wants to buy a vote by giving away other people hard earned money. The (R) party wants to buy your vote by allowing you to keep what is yours in the first place. Nope, nothing extra there Ain't that a pisser.
Why is the voting discrepancy so massive. That is an outstanding question. As time moves forward & the voting block for the (D) hasn't changed much, that question should be asked loudly & often. After 50 years of democrat promises, why is the black child still in under performing schools. Why is the poor white child unable to read? Why are the hispanic children dropping out of school in such high numbers?
WHY HAVEN'T THE PROBLEMS BEEN FIXED MR KENNEDY?
MR KERRY?
MRS FEINSTEIN?
MR DASCHLE?
WHY?
WHY?
WHY?
Yes TD, those are excellent questions.
The answer is coming to many negroes TD (as well as other ethnic minorities). Slowly the answers are being made clear. And because of this, the man or the woman with an (R) is getting more & more of the vote from the people asking the questions.
I like that.
