Ok....first not sure what thread to put this in, NEED SOME HELP though. My boyfriends son is 23 and keeps going on the computer and looking at SMUT sites. He is screwing up the computer.......every word that is like Love, cum, date, sex, etc....is always highlighted and underlined in anything anyone else looks up and the computer is really running like shit. We did McAfee on it and all is fine virus wise. Does anyone know how we can get the underscored words to stop and how we can get a free block for PORN on this thing????????????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :alienhuh:

RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing is that he can get any girl he wants and DOES! He is a male slut himself........But he is like addicted to looking up this shit! He got a laptop a couple days before christmas and he still uses the home computer, its really pissing me off too!

Load and configure AVG Anti-Virus
Load Ad-Aware

Mare, Do you have some kind of spyware killer? Spybot works well and you can download it free here: click me
Scroll down until you see the 4 1/2 stars in the purple boxes, to the right of that is a download link. It's what I use and I like it. Follow the instructions it gives you when you run it and make sure that you use the immunize function when you are done.
Tell the boy that they have these things called porno dvd's and they rent them cheap and don't mess up the computer.
 
For the initial cleanup, Go to Panda software and use their online antivirus. Once you're clear of virii, then pull down Ewido, and Trend Micro spyware eliminators, along with both Spybot and Adaware. Install the first two and update them, and run them. Then the next two. The first two have a 2 week time limit. Use them daily until it's up. Then pick one of the last two and use it religiously.

and lock that little bastard out with passwords.
 
One thing that is NOT mentioned here is disc cleanup, if it is XP that is. The other tools work good but do the cleanup first, run the shareware, get rid of McAfee and go with a Symantec product such as NIS then slap the little bastard around with a playboy or a victoria secretes catalogue after you lock him out of the desktop...

I'd recommend Spybot AND AdAware regularly. I have both and often one finds stuff that the other missed (I run them back to back on a weekly basis).
 
Also, tell him he's 23 years old, learn to respect the property of others or get the hell out of the house :D
