Is there ANYONE on this board that does NOT SMOKE?!! ANYONE at all?! There has GOT to be at least ONE of you out there... :crying6:

BTW if you quit it does not count. I'm wondering about people that never smoked and isn't currently doing it. :errrr:
 
i don't smoke, but i used to (almost 3 years now).

based on your first post, i'm not qualified as a "sane person"
 
I think this thread is pretty much gonna end up with LL's comment The whole world is insane except for me :D

Haven't bought me a pack of cigarettes in almost 3 years now but I bum an occasion cancer stick every now.

I used to smoke, and I'm not really sane either. In fact I only quit a couple weeks ago, and I fucking hate not smoking, in fact, I fucking hate even talking about not smoking. I wanna smokie treat, Dammit. NOW! :mad2:
 
I will always remember the thing I saw on TV once, that put me off smoking for life. It was so bad, that even when I told my friend about it - only using words - she immediately quit smoking and hasn't had a cig since!

It was this video of one of the tube-like parts of the body (I don't know what it was - windpipe/gullet or whatever) that used to belong to a heavy smoker before he died. The person had it in their hands and then they pressed their finger against one end of it, pushing up, if you get what I mean. Well...just imagine a small rubber tube filled with a mixture of baby sick, porridge and yogurt...and it all being squeezed out.

That was the mucas and other shitty stuff that had collected in the guy over the years before he died. I swear I will never forget that image, it was absolutely disgusting. :sick3:

Mhh....makes a man think....I'm glad I almost completely quit. It is hard, but I am NOT going to throw my life away because of a bad habbit, leaving people behind who actually cared about me.
Plus I don't want me to suffer that much before dying...seen that happen..not a nice sight.

Thanks for the story, Scanty. Made me realize once more how much I need to quit completely.
