this is great. i won't get shit, and that itself is fine, but families making up to $88k will be sucking my wallet.

I don't think it goes far enough. You should limited to $88,000 household income (including roomates or otherwise). The rest should go to people who are not fortunate enough to pay to taxes.
 
nah, it would be way worse the other way. mccain's ticker woulda blown out because of the pressure of having to do something rather than just being a grumpystick, and palin would have taken over... resulting in a ten-fold increase in teen pregnancy and a proportionate decrease in the literacy rate.

my medicaid deductible is up to ~$150/yr now.
I make 4 doc visits a year (@$90/ea), and only had to have some heart tests done once in the last 10 years.
I wonders if I could get private insurance for that?....

I am fiscally responsible, and have declined all the other help I'm eligible for.
I make due just in the ss.
I do also still pay a couple of grand a year in property tax, and still pay consumption taxes.
