Just wondering whether you call it your better half, significant other, etc... :D

Oh fury, there's so many depending on the day and the mood. My husband is the norm, then there's hubby, da man, He, Him, Himself, all faves at the moment.

Then there are the bad mood ways to refer to him, another story. :D

i actively refer to her as the wife or missus, trouble and strife, ball and chain , her indoors etc. this is because i have a lot of pet names for her [mostly based on her first and middle name, and belle )], and it gets confusing for people who don't know.

so i took to calling her 'the wife' as a way of standardising away from the flat. D

There's no option for "beeatch"!!! :D

edit: that isn't a bad mood way to refer to him though ;)

Usually I just call him the old boy, if I'm pissed off I call him stupid.

 @Q

It completely depends to whom I talking. As long as it isn't c*nt, I'll not die for whatever it is.:D

I call Rob my boyfriend, I wish their was a better term...one that didn't sound so juvenile and superficial but whatcha gonna do?

Manfriend? um...no.

Lover? not necessarily good for use in polite conversation.

Gigolo? please

bit on the side? no.

partner? Makes me sound gay.

Bitch? again the polite conversation bit.

Y'know ... I'm on really good terms with my minister. And a bunch of guys in kilts could pass for formal wear. Gimme a few hours and a willing accomplice, add in a few montreal bars ....

Bring a nice dress with you.
