What is it with Mayo ?

Why is it that every time you order a sandwich, at fast food or even a decent restaurant, and you specifically say "NO MAYONNAISE", they insist on ruining your meal with that nasty goop?
Is it Mandatory Mayo? Does anyone even like the disgusting goo?:sick5:
 
I'd like to know why they look at you like you've got three heads when you say "no mayo" & then throw a super-sized 3-year-old-channelled tantrum when they fuck it up. :tardbang:

It's not as bad as the fries conspiracy.

Me: A burger please
Numpty: With fries?
Me: No.
Numpty: So, one coke, one burger, with a side of fries?
Me: No fries.
Numpty: [confused look] What?
Me: No fries. I don't want fries. Just the burger.
Numpty: Er. You want a burger with no fries?
Me: Yes.
Numpty: But it's cheaper if you get a combo.
Me: I don't want fries.
Numpty: Are you sure?
Me: YES!
Numpty: Ok.

[Five minutes later, order comes out with fries]

I like malt vinegar and mayo when I am eating my fries with fried fish. I jigger the vinegar over the whole plate and dip my fries in the mayo.
 
Vinegar-YES! Hot mustard on REAL potatos- YES!
Mayonnaise- HELL NO!
Guess it is a matter of taste.
Beard of Pants: they push those fries and sodas because that's where the dollar is- nothing smells of profit more than greasy strings of potato-like things and sugared, carbonated water!
