I have an admittedly unfounded fear of capers. They look like alien seeds . . .

They are good on grilled eggplant with a little olive oil drizzled on them.

Right now I'm eating "Great New Taste!" Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies. "Great New Taste!" my fanny - they taste like compressed sawdust.

love capers.... indispensible in tuna salad! but good on lots of other things too... they're great on sauteed skate, for instance
