woke up to 23f -5c temps this morning. I also heard it was snowing a bit on the gulf coast and Mobile... that, around here, is a sure sign of the apocalypse. Parts of Wisconsin are in the serious negatives. Baaaad cold snap. Hope it kills of some of those dormant bugs.

Hilo, HI 67f 19c

Sarasota, FL46f 8c

Its sleeting in Ocala, Fl for crying out loud ... thats baaaaad!

I hope the pipes in my computer lab haven't busted.
I'm about to go check it now.
It's that old cheap pvc and half of it isn't insulated. :(
I left the heat on, and the water dripping.*crosses fingers*
It has held here at 25*F, but that 3-4 deg makes a big diff.

I better go and check, before it thaws, if it's frozen???:confuse3:

That woulda been nice to know before I took the dogs out for a walk in just a t-shirt.:(....it wasn't cold yesterday.

it's staying with us too. Looks like the entire week is in the Candian refrigerator. You folks want your ice back?
 
It's getting foggy over here. It's only 10 and I almost can't see the next apartment building because of the fog.
 
Looks like we're gonna have snow, or some kind of frozen
precipitation here thrusday, or friday.:eek:

And it is predicted 17*F friday sometime.:(
 
hrmph.. I have to go fetch dad from the airport in a few hours. I'm not looking forward to it. People around here get in such a 'chicken little' tizzy everytime snow threatens. People drive like manicas.

Thats a passing mini pocket of cold, Scott. You'll taper off to good ol' slush like the rest of us soon enough. I think its been like 53 weeks since I've seen a flake on my lawn.

I dunno, it says now that it's gonna get to like 13*F tomarrow.
That's pretty damn cold for here these days. If it melts any
there will be some badass black ice problems.:eek:
