Dynamics: A+
Surveying: A
Communications: A-
Statics: B+
Thermophysics: B-

My weighted average is somewhere in the low 80s (we just get given a GPA, on a 12 scale, no percentages) and THAT puts ME on the....ready for this????

For the record...low 80s is an A- here...not a B...:)

That's a pretty lenient grading system. What constitutes an F......0-10?

btw - you go girl :winkkiss:

An F is anything below 50

Also, it's just as hard to get an A here as it is there. They grade differently. Anyone who gets an 80 here should beable to go to the USA and get a 90 and viceversa...

Let's see if I can remember......

90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
64-69 = D
<64 = F

Congrats, Nix! :D

When I was in high school (ie - school), the school had a seven point grading scale.

In otherwords:
100-93 >> A
92-86 >> B
85-71 >> C
and so forth.

It suck'd ass.

About our junior year they converted to a ten point scale. 90-100 >> a, 80-90 >> b, etc ...

Gosh, but to have a twenty point a? Is that the standard scale, Leslie?

By a 12 point scale I mean...like a 4.0 GPA is perfect at most schools my school feels the need to use 12 as perfect, 0 is fail...it'sconfusing *stares blankly*

Lucky you. We have four grades;
IG/Icke godkänd (= Failed)
G/Godkänd (=Passed)
VG/Väl godkänd (=Passed with ease)
MVG/Mycket väl godkänd (=Passed with honors)

I want a 100-point grading scale, %-style. Bah.

since HS the grading system the schools ive been to have used
90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 C
60-69 D
and anything below 60 is a d

tho oddly Barton apparently uses the minus and plus as in A- and A+ and so forth
