Why does Fisher Price even deal with these factories? Any money they save in manufacturing disappears with these recalls...If you think I'm just picking on Fisher Price, you're wrong. Dead wrong. Makes me wonder what else could go wrong, and why, after at least 40 years of studies, lead paint is still being used...
 
See, we have that Dora's backpack thing (Mattel link) but it's all canvas and plastic so how can that be leaded? We have the tiny Dora doll but it's fiesta not birthday (FP link) so I guess we are good?

Metal grommets? Painted snaps? I really don't know. Best to go along with the recall, though. Don't know about the dolls. I just posted that because I knew some of us have younger children and as a rant about 'money vs safety'. :shrug:
 
Our critters & our kids. Is China telling us something?

On the other hand...everyone of us over 30 grwe up with lead based paint all around us. We just didn't eat it.
