[tommyj27]

wow, another new page! i wonder how many printed pages this thread would be?

[Altron]

I just finished watching "The Brave Little Toaster" and remembered how depressing it is. In the end it turns out all right, but there are some scary parts...

[Altron]

Yeah, that's the google logo...

[nnewton]

no it isnt

[tommyj27]

how many lights do you see now?

[Squiggy]

all of them...

[PT]

I see about 1,572,864.

(That's 1024 x 768 x 2)

[Arris]

I see no light at the end of the tunnel, in fact if there is no light I can't see the end of the tunnel...

[Altron]

I never understood the x2 at the end of resolutions...
Is it like 2 pixels stacked on each other?

[PT]

No, I'm just looking at two different screens, my desktop and my laptop.

[Altron]

Oh...
I'm seeing 1280*1024, I need to boost up resolution a bit... (You get to have insane resolutions with 22" of screen to play with...)

[Altron]

It's now 1600*1200
My monitor sup[ports tons of non - 4:3 resolutions, 1600*1200 is the next highest 4:3...
I'll probably go back, everything is so small...

[Arris]

My Radeon 9700 Pro supports 2048x1200 or something like that. Bit tiny on an old 19" (plus games start to get a little slow if they suppor that resolution)

[Altron]

My Geforce 2 MX 400 can't support 2048*1536
My monitor can, but my video card sucks...
Oh well, soon I am getting Geforce 4 Ti 4200

[PT]

Yeah, mines got those too, don't quite know why you would use them, but they're there.

since I usually find 1600x1200 tiny, its not really a very useful resolution for me
