You're not the only one. Personally, my motto is that if you can't nicely wish someone a happy birthday, then simply have the good grace to let it go by without comment.

But, not everyone thinks like me (more's the pity).

I was thinking about this more last night. I know, it shouldn't even bother me, but it does. By that logic, if I don't think your wife will see this, I can call her a slut too. Right?
