[Note folks - just inviting discussion - I saw this posted on another site and the mix of opinions in response to it was very interesting. Not my opinion personally!]
 
ohhhh this is good, and no, it hasn't been talked here.

i tend to agree with that, he is using that as his "cause" to promote war.

I think you are probably right, Fi. Although I did vote for him, and supported him before hand, it is common that a war of some kind will greatly increase the popularity of a president. His Daddy did it a little over ten years ago, now George Jr. has the opportunity too. The sad thing I see is that I don't think George Jr would have ever been accepted as a good president. Now that he has shown the country he has the ability to lead our country through one of the most horrific times our country has ever had, people respect him.

BTW, LL, your opinion is your opinion, personal attacks are not necesary and are against the AUP, I believe.

Hey LL, nobody said that september 11th was a good thing, and i don't see anybody in here supporting that cause.

She didn't call the 9/11 attacks a good thing, she merely said it was a good thing for Bush, which it was, not a good thing for our country.

No one said that LL, i don't think she meant it that way, everyones entitled to their opinion, why'd you come to the conclusion its against the aup?
 
He didn't Justin, I said that, He attacked her for asking peoples opinions. Just tired of closed minded people, sorry.
 
I see now what you mean. But you need to rephrase that. And I disagree. What about marriage? Having his first kid? Graduating? Saying the deaths of 5,000 people are the best thing that could have happened for Bush sounds, well, not good to me.

don't worry about it fi. there's nothing wrong with a little debate ...

i've never liked george w. from the beginning, and more so post 9-11.
