Perseid Meteor Shower

The Perseids are probably the best-watched of any annual meteor shower. They come in mid-August when it's warm and comfortable to be outside at 4 o'clock in the morning. They are bright, numerous, and dependable.

This year the shower peaks on Wednesday, August 13th.

i've been trying to see that for a few years now. guess i can count on rain or clouds that night.

I watch every year, weather permitting. AZ was really excellent for it. You can drve around to the backside of the mountains and the seeing is incredible. Even went to Kitt Peak with a bunch of people to watch one year.

Its always too cloudy here plus theres sh*tloads of light pollution meaning that we onl see STARS here on super clear nights. I've always wanted to see the perseids and the leonids
