Still not quite sure what Canadian bacon is... think that's something Americans made up. fury explains it as thick sliced - to me that's ham. Bacon is bacon. Paper thin.

Leslie: I believe Canadian Bacon refers to something like Peameal Bacon (I think of that as ham too) or Back Bacon

Yeah, I think that's what fury was trying to explain. Peameal bacon without the cornmeal.

That really is ham though, not bacon.

You know how in North America we call brown geese "Candian Geese"? Well, I only thought they existed in north america but turns out they exist in Germany and they just call them "Geese" (but in German of course) without the "Canadian"
