The first time I found out about this place was a few weeks ago when I bought the Count of Monte Christo dvd and got a coupon for this place.

I ate a Founder's Favorite last night :choclate: very yum & probably not a wise choice for my post-partum-trying-to-regain-prepartum-figure efforts :D
 
I just saw one open up down the street. I guess its the latest Starbucks viral store infection to sweep the nation.
 
omg I had raisin oatmeal vanilla ice cream the other night and it was awesome... I thought it would be weird but it goes with the vanilla ice cream really really well. I think I found a new favorite.

Ku'u, do they have really strange ice cream flavors or do they keep it simple?
 
I'll stick with either Mint Chocolate Chip (in honor of you, gf) ;), or Rocky Road (representing my past).

Define strange :D I saw peanut butter ice cream that I'm tempted to try one day ... I still think green tea ice cream is strange ... my bestest guy friend loves ginger ice cream. :circle:
 
Rusty loves green tea ice cream but the only place we ever found it was in Japanese restaurants. And I even asked them where they get it from but of course it was a restaurant distributor. :rolleyes:

Peanut Butter ice cream is yummy too... I guess with the creation of Ben and Jerry's, nothing is strange anymore.

I had the Banana Caramel Crunch...French vanilla ice cream, bananas, caramel and pecans..yummy!
Businesses like such don't always last for long in Hilo but their service is really good which could help.

Hey gf, I did see a peppermint flavor there. Yuck!

Ooh, ooh! Tell Rusty to fly you both down here for a vacation ... tempt him with green tea ice cream - they sell it everywhere here :D
 
Best ice cream I've ever had here in the UK was just off Trafalger Square in London at a little shop that had about 50 different varieties including Hamburger flavour.

New York Butter Pecan... *drool* :choclate:

I just checked out their flavours.... Butter Pecan..... when's the next flight? :D

Oh Ku'u, I wouldn't have to tempt him. If we had the money, we'd be traveling as much as possible!! :D
 
I'm with Kuu on that one, I like burgers, and I like ice cream, but burger flavored ice cream? naaaa.

*thinking* So what if you wanted a cheeseburger...you could either get a side of cheese ice cream (because they probably would have it, 1 out 50 chance) or top it with cheese? :p
