I don't understand this "thing"

I don't know why my router was going funny on me. For anyone who noticed, my website was down for a long time.

I kind of think it had something to do with getting xbox live.
Except my router is on the compatibility list.

Shortly after I got xbox live, my router stopped allowing incoming access. I could still surf the net, but my server couldn't serve pages and my xbox couldn't sign on to live.

I finally downloaded a firmware update, but even after i installed I had problems for a few hours. Then, inexplicably, I was able to access my server again. I wonder if reconnecting my xbox will break my router again. won't know til i try

Yeah, I'm already getting problems. I got Halo 2. Right out of the box and *crash* "Your xbox can't recognize this disc" but then again, I think my xbox is in the first stages of "breaking"... as in permanently.
