I happened to have the displeasure of listening to her interview on NPR today. Disgusting.

She made a horribly sweeping generalization that was in essence "Democrats care more about people and the planet, Republicans care more about getting elected." She then quickly said, paraphrasing again, "some will criticize me for making a sweeping generalization, and it is... but it is true."

Ugh.

And some people actually have respect for this woman? She would turn this country more towards socialism than it ever has. Socialistic programs are clearly the parts of our government that are not working well, and she would steam ahead further in that direction.

I don't mind at all...

The biggest fraud and waste in the social programs isn't by undeserving single mothers. Its buy the doctors and HMOs that the doctors formed for that very reason. And they are why that system isn't working...

Ahhhh. I thought you were tying in the government. I agree that HMOs are BS. I disagree on why they were created. It was insuarance companies looking to control the masses evil likelihood to think hospitals ERs were personal physicans waiting offices.

I think if you look into almost any HMO you will find that all of the principals are doctors. And those same doctors own the labs and therapy offices that they allow you to be sent to...Its an obvious scam of outrageous proportions when you flush it out....

Doctors do the same thing with medicare patients. I know this first hand from caring for my father with end-stage emphysema. His primary doctor set up a therapy regime at a Respiratory Therpy office that he himself owned...Problem was, they had him scheduled for treadmill and other physical stuff when the doctor knew he couldn't walk more than 30 feet. The drugs he had prescribed would have disqualified him from physical activity. He had to be walked the 10 feet to the bathroom to make sure he didn't fall.They still billed medicare/medicade (?) for the entire program.

Well, yeah, but that's just the way social care works. It's kinda like saying "hey, the only reason socialism hasn't been more successful is because the people haven't worked their asses off and willingly given away all their earnings... but we can fix that and make it work this time."

Well, you know what... you can't. That's just one facet of the system that you can't eliminate. Set up a system that allows corruption, and people will be corrupt. Democrats may "care" a whole hell of a lot, but Hillary's ideals apparently override any functioning brain cells she may have.

As a leader, she would sink this country faster than the Titanic.

Bush has drenched us in his 'ideals' more than any president I've seen....Hes the one who is sinking us faster than the Titanic.

Bush may very well sink himself, but the country is doing just fine. I personally don't aspire to become a slave to the government, thank you very much.
