We all know that "Bikini" and the woman who grew into her couch fabric are fat. Morbidly so. But where do you put the low end? Where does "fat" start for you? Personally, I just discovered where I put it. It's when the belly surpasses the hips/ass and you start having trouble keeping the belt up where it's supposed to be.

For me its when my back hurts in the morning because my gut is pulling it to one side while I sleep. Yep, my back hurt this morning.

Works great for men..with the belly and love-handles being the first sign, but with women...it takes a whole lot longer for the waist to surpass the hips/butt combo.

When all you pants have to be adjusted because anything off the rack that fits your waist is at least 6" too long in the leg.

When I can't wear the pant size I've always worn, I'm getting too big.

When that pant size is too big, I need to eat more.

I am @ 170 lbs here. Unc I thought in all the shots I saw of you that you were quite thin or average.

i describe myself as "more to love", "curvacious", "full figured"...
then again i have also been quoted as saying, "i like my women curvy"...

eh... i am of the school of thought that thinks skeletons do not necessarily, or even often, equal beautiful women.

I have no ass. It's all belly and legs.
All my fat is in the stomach. My legs aren't that fat at all, and my ass isn't too bad either. But fat-ass rolls off the tongue easier than fat-gut.

I am too. I will admit this tho

I had a friend in HS named Sabrina. I alawys was attracted to her. I hugged her once. it was literally like hugging a skeleton. scared me half to death when I did. Wasnt as attracted to her physically after that

Fat is all in the mind until it impedes your lifestyle... for some thats not being able to look as good in the fashion clothing they want for others its not being able to walk down the street without breaking into a sweat...

Our walker would probably think that fashion clothes is a rake but fashion clothes probably tries just as hard to lose weight...

I'm more in the fashion clothes camp... To me I am fat... very fat actually.

I'm 5ft 3" tall and weigh in at 11stone 10pound... in your money thats about 164... that makes me a UK 14/16 an American 10/12.

I don't know whether a 10/12 in America is "Big" but a 14/16 in Blighty is treated like a freak by most fashion retailers! Although as a nation we are getting larger there is still the over riding attitude that anyone over a size 12 (US 8) are lazy, smelly and dirty.. I've seen it in people's eyes!

In one well known chain store (Yes thats you TOPSHOP!!!!) I actually have to go up to a sales assistant and ASK for the larger sizes... like

"Hi... do you have the distressed "bunty" jean in a...*lowers volume* 16/30?"

"Yeah! Sure all those sizes are out the back"

"Out the back? In the stock room?"

"Yeah I'll get you one!"

I mean to me.. that is just plain wrong! It's degrading!

I've worked in retail and stock in the stock room is always kept there for a reason... normally they're not as good a sellers etc etc I should be able to rationalise it but all I can think is "These clothes aren't meant for me!" No wonder the larger sizes don't sell! They make their larger clients feel like S**T!!!!

After my wait I normally won't even try them on unless Adrian literally frog marches me to the changing room! I just want out of that size-ist store and away from those size 8 (4) bitches!

I am making a conscious effort though.. I joined WeightWatchers a year ago last week and to date (after a lot of false starts... I'm a comfort eater) I've lost 161/2 pound... not much but it should stay off! I'm 2 pound from my 10% body weight loss and another stone and a half from a "happy weight" which would bring me well into a healthy BMI...

This has gone a little off topic and a bit of a ramble but this is a topic I know alot about...

Me no likey skinny wimmins.

Wimmins should be plump and huggy-able.

Me personally is 155 lbs. at just a tick under 6 feet tall. Went on diet and lost 45 lbs. when me developed a dickie-doo.

i've always been the skinny-type... not for lack of trying, just have one of those metabolisms that won't stop... i agree with ash that it's how you carry youself... good posture, a nice smile, a good attitude goes a lot farther in terms of attractiveness than body-type

6' tall and hovering between 190 - 200lbs, and tho I don't look it, I still feel the need to try and knock off my 'spare tire'. Try as I might though, at my age it starts getting harder and harder to lose the fat.

As for women...I can't abide the sticks and anorexic wanna-be women that I see walking abouts downtown. I also can't stand people who say that you have to be thin to be sexy.

Sexiness is all in the mind. I've met women who hover in the 100-110 range who couldn't pull off sexy wearing a french maidd's outfit and crotchless panties. I've also met women in the 250-300 range who know that sexiness starts in the mind and that if you feel comfortable in your own body and you can also feel sexy in your own body. A Haitian lady which I worked with weighed around 300 or so...and she exuded sexiness in every step.

Give me a woman with some curves, soft in the right spots and confident in her step...and I'll ignore all others. Remember...Marilyn Monroe wasn't exactly a size 8...she was more like a size 10-12...
