All the AZ governor has to say is that until the matter is settled they will simply follow the federal law which does not provide the protections the AZ law contains. The federal law was upheld in 2005 in Meuhler vs Mena. The court ruled that under the federal law the police do not need probable cause to walk up to any individual and demand ID and proof of legal immigrant status.

I wonder what the feds would do then; sue themselves?

And the carry concealed without a permit law goes into effect August first!
