Do Gene or Paul have an ounce of shame?

No. But damn what a voice Paul's still got...

I been a fanatic since '74. I'm becoming less so as I age and add up how much of my money they have. I've surely bought at least one of them a car by now.

26 concert tickets (maybe more, I took dates/wives to a lot)
23 tour shirts
set of original dolls
set of 1990s dolls
at least 6 tour books
metal trash can
KISStory book ($150 for that puppy)
half a dozen or more hardback books
8 home videos/movies bought
God alone knows how much stuff at tours like KISS condoms, KISS Army dog tags, etc
50+ comic books, magazines (100% KISS mags) and publicity photos
set of 4 1:64 scale dragster cars
brass belt buckle
at least 30 posters, probably more
2 copies of boxed set
every LP, some 2 or 3 copies, plus 6 different covers of the tribute album, including Ace and Peter post-KISS stuff
every CD, most twice now, including Ace and Peter post-KISS stuff
several cassettes back when
every 45 rpm single except two (all but one gone now)
various merchandise of unfathomable quantities and other shit I'll never even remember - 5 large Rubbermaid containers crammed full not counting what I actually had out on display

Man, that was an expensive fire...*sigh*

Who says marketing doesn't work?

Out of morbid curiosity, I just roughly added it up. Using original purchase prices, best guesses on the stuff I can remember and speculation as to what all I've forgotten about having, I came up with $11,285.00. Give or take. Not including things like gas to the concerts etc...just the items themselves.

OK, so I bought one of 'em a decent used car...

Do Gene or Paul have an ounce of shame?

Of course not. They're the Coca-Cola of rock and rolla. That was their intention from the very beginning and they continue to pull it off admirably. :D

Which is one reason I'e never actively dissed KISS. You can't sell out when your entire purpose is to sell out.

I dunno. I saw their Creatures Of The Night tour. They blew.

Motley Crue, before Vince was a killer, opened.
