Very disturbing trend...

The curves of Playboy centerfold models have gradually flattened out over the last 50 years, giving way to a more androgynous look, European researchers suggest.Does it mean the male idea of female attractiveness has changed over time that men now prefer a less curvaceous woman, despite their protests that "heroin chic" is not sexy? Or were the evolutionary scientists who theorized that curves symbolized fertility and that the most reproductively successful females were those who were able to store surplus energy in their curves wrong?

Shocking source...

Interesting. But seemingly contradicted by the amount of silicone bouncing around these days...I've always preferred a petit look with no overly exaggerated features so I guess i should start looking at Playboy again.

Fashionable & sexy change constantly and they always will. During the late 1800's & the turn of the century chunky women were the most attractive around. You see it in old magazines and papers of the day. Large women covered the advertisements section of that time. I don't mean slightly overweight women but 50lbs overweight. During the 1920's women fashioned their bodies to resemble that of boys. They wore devices(can't remember the name) that would tuck in their hips and tight bras so that their figure was essentially flat. This wasn't a small thing but was prevelent all throughout American society.

Sexy is not absolute.

If that were still true, I'd be happy. ;)

Interesting topic. As far as beautiful-bodied women go, I don't think wafer-thin models and women with no hips or chest are sexy. Then again, I think overly busty women like Pamela Anderson are a bit garish looking. To me, someone like Selma Hayek, who has curves, but isn't grotesquely altered, is the typical beauty.

Although not my favorite picture of her, this dress shows off her body:

Bodies are great but character is just as powerful. Pamela Anderson is a perfect example of of a decent body with a disgusting character that spoils the entire package. She really turns me off.

So you read Playboy to find out about the women's personality? ;)

I know that's not what you meant, I just thought it was funny. :D

while those women have a lack of hippage the curvature of the upper torso region is most pleasing.

too much more of them and i may be forced to move them to the secret porn den *ahem* i may be forced to.. *fap fap fap*

:nuts2:
