my hubby has a new job working atop Mauna Kea, a job that'll require him to work 3 days in a row up in the mountain. that's gonna take awhile for me to get used to him being gone
don't take this wrong...it's not a sign or anything lol...but my whole marriage was like that, and really, while it's hard sometimes, especially with the children, you'll really grow to appreciate the quiet times in the evenings ku'u, really. And think about how happy day 4 will be too.
Well, $5 says he's only doing it because in the long run it's what he feels is in the best interest of his family. With a new house on the way, every extra dollar will be worth its weight in gold.
Is this 3-day job a one-time affair? If so, there's not really a need to get used to him being gone if it's so temporary.
it's a 3-day on, 4-day off kinda job. he'll be staffing the visitor station, closing the roads during the heavy snow, stuff like that.
i'll just miss him during the night-time feedings ... when the boy cries, my hubby is the one that wakes up to change his diaper, then brings him to bed for my to feed, during which time i sleep ... but shhhhhh, don't tell him that, he thinks my job is harder
