impeachment for intentionally breaking a platform promise

What does everyone think about this - like if a politician intentionally breaks a promise he/she makes in his/her platform, then he/she is automatically impeachmed.

Impeachment and removal are different seactions, as we have seen with Bill Clinton. He was impeached but not removed.

Personally I believe even shady creatures like Bush are deserving of a trial. Not sure how unbiased thast could be though.

It happens too often. The problem is that the politician's promises aren't his/her own, but that of the party. Impeaching the party isn't an issue.

You can, though...roast them over a verbal barage and make sure that they're not re-elected.

I think the argument against that would be how would you ever get anyone elected.

Campaign promises to voters are equal to tennage boys trying to get in teenage girls pants - if the girl believes he loves her she deserves what she gets.
