Atlanta (at least my part of it) caught at least 6 inches of rain (still coming down), and a lot of wind. Downed trees and blown-out traffic lights were the order of the day on the way to work.

Check in, FL folks. If it was that bad up here, I worry about ya.
 
Hope Sharky and his are ok as well as Mare and hers. I also have some other friends there I am worried about

There's a flood warning right now for ya, associated with this.

Man, My drive is going to be so bad soon that I can't drive across it,
and there's no completely clear days in site. :(

All the more because in the month of June
I judiciously dumped over 9,000 gallons of water on my yard to get it too look like this:

and after eight days of water stoppage

I'm gonna go for the moonscape Desert look til winter.
I'd say that long before Aug. 1st
there won't be one blade of green grass left.

Mines looking like that now.
I may have to try to cut it wet, with the push mower, and just unclog it periodically.
If the grass here get too high, the snakes start coming around.
 
I don't have that kind of money laying around. :(

I'm about to shell out the last 2 grand in my savings to get this place surveyed.
 
Shit man, you ought to know that this this is running on a shoestring,
and bubble gum. If I rented it, it'd be tore all to hell.
