But the "E-Go" notebook, described by manufacturers Tulip as "the first lifestyle laptop," takes that trend to a new level.

When the E-Go goes on sale in October, customers will be able to choose from a range of fabric and leather patterns, including snakeskin and zebra stripes.

Hey that might be cool for desktop customizations too.
I might start making machine-embroidered slipcovers, or velcrotm
type stuff with cool designs on um.

I can do it.

I'm already working out the details on some new-wave designs to embroider,
and the first "saddle-type" design to be universal-fit for a comp case.
I'll be doing custom fit case designs later. :glasses:

Its about damn time... people have been modding ATX cases for a while now.

Imagine the brushed leather laptop for CEOs, the BarbieTM laptop, the Dora the Explorer Laptop, the transparent laptop, the ...

OTC LAPTOP!!!

Laptop slips have been availible for some time. Usually stretch vinyl. Spray painting them has also happened. But all of them usually lead to overheating and burned crotches.

how much are they charging? i'll customize your puter for a fraction of the cost....you'll have to take it my way but i'll do it cheaper.

i've attacked my current machine with nail polish and childrens glitter paint. i still am using my texas flag mouse though.

Hmmmm...airbrush artists should be all over this.
Same issues as with ATX cases...the paint'll chip off! You've got to abrade the surface for the paint to stick and you risk damaging the lappy. That's probably one of the largest walls between the artist and his lappy. :D

I dan well know that my 'ecru' ATX case would've sprouted some nicer colours if it wasn't for that.

so when the paint chip you sand it off and do it again :tardbang:
art is fluid people!......and makes for repeat business ;)
