anonymous usage statistics does not a spyware make. and you can always opt out. So far, my iTunes hasn't stolen my credit card numbers, loaded any viruses on my computer, or given me any pop-up windows. or anything else spyware might do. :D

I haven't seen any news as to how the Taco Bell fire started. It was early in the morning so only one person was there. She noticed the fire, called 911 and went outside to wait. The only thing saved from that place was the cordless phone. :D Yes, all the icicles are from the firefighters...

A TV blackout would get those potatoes off their duffs and to the electronics store. Didn't Obama think about all the people who do have their boxes? They'll be just as angry, thinking they've wasted their money on the converter boxes if analog is sticking around. The transition should happen...

Things aren't that bad for me here. Personally, my bills are few and low. Besides the wage freeze at work, our part time guy was let go, and my friend who I work with, had his hours cut to part time. I might lose a few hours here and there, but I have enough money to hang on.

I don't think the government should give out any more vouchers. If someone doesn't have their voucher for whatever reason (i.e. procrastination), tough. It's not like the converter boxes are going to be suddenly yanked from production. Let them pay full price. Serves 'em right.
