I found a couple alternatives to using Stanza. I wouldn't know if any of these work. I don't have an iphone. http://pimm.wordpress.com/2007/07/18/how-to-read-pdf-files-on-iphone-via-safari-instead-of-lame-email-attachments/...

    Very wierd file...

Oh yeah, I forgot this program. http://www.imgburn.com/ I used CDBurnerXP for a bit, but I found ImgBurn more to my liking. It has the same interface as DVD Decrypter, too.

    Very wierd file...

Here are a few more links to add to that wonderful list. A mirror to the final version of DVD Decrypter. http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/ BTW, Jim. That link you provided to the fee based dvd decrypter is for a program called Free 2 DVD. I've been using an older version of DVD Decrypter for so...

Funny thing, too. I only found out about this program when I built my Ultimate Boot CD for Windows, because it's one of the tools in the cd.

    Adobe Reader alternative

I've been using it for a couple months. The program loads 10x faster than adobe reader, too. I'm thinking of uninstalling adobe reader and see if I can get foxit to work inside my web browser. Because adobe is still the default reader for opening pdfs in my browser. lol

    One for spike

I thought that was kind of strange, too. He could have also said "Only 3 out of 10 were optimistic". Would have given him the same spin he was looking for.

Students file complaint against CU gun ban‏

Why would they run up and attack the one who is currently shooting? Since you are not currently shooting, someone could very well attack you if they believe they have the advantage. The advantage being that you aren't shooting at them, and your nearness to them. I would have expounded more on...

Students file complaint against CU gun ban‏

Doesn't mean he's a good guy. Bad guys don't think in such simplistic terms. "Shoot the people running away because that's what I do." And just as easily gives the perpetrator a clearer shot at you. Just because he's the bad guy doesn't mean he has lower awareness and won't notice you. Also...

Students file complaint against CU gun ban‏

Why would you "naturally assume" he/she is doing exactly the same thing as you? Wouldn't you suspect he/she could be an accomplice, coming to aid the shooter? Just as easily as he/she could suspect you of being the shooter's accomplice? And I wouldn't have my weapon drawn if I were you. If...

Students file complaint against CU gun ban‏

Also, wouldn't it be safe to assume that most cops aren't of the 'shoot first, ask questions later' mentality? Because if that's not true, the cops would seem to be the more dangerous ones here.

Students file complaint against CU gun ban‏

I don't know anything about being a cop. But wouldn't it be safe to assume that they'd be trained trying to not get killed? Which would include neutralizing, in one way or another, potential threats? i.e. other people with guns, not identified as a law enforcement officer Wouldn't they tell...

Hate crime rears it's ugly head

Only playing devil's advocate here. But how can you presume to know all that from reading the news story? Isn't it possible they only 'knew' she was a lesbian because of the gay pride sticker on her bumper? I'm just curious about the assumptions being made to support that this was an...
