Is there such a thing as, "perfect" weather??

I say, yes. Though I believe it is independent of our own views of approval or disapproval, acceptance or rejection of its presence in our particular locality. I believe, for what its worth, that its the "weather" inside us which matters most of all.......... Though its most easy for us...

bwahaha, now i, too, have a sexy av!!

No offense Ash, the chic in black is ok, but ya know, "sexy" is an' attitude which is adopted by those who feel compelled to be attached to the ones we admire. An attitude, which knows not, the boundaries of others, who define their own preferrences, which do not, necessarily agree with our...

The latest fad or-(not to be outdone)

Prof, don't ya think that those of us, who are 'bent' to such levels of "public" mud-rollin', are neither, persuaded, nor desuaded from pursuin' these paths anyhow? I doubt that the so called, "leaders" of such trends, are really leaders at all. More like, the next in line, to follow the...

The latest fad or-(not to be outdone)

Not surprised by the depths into which, we continue to descend, in order to somehow find "new" levels of rejection form others, which confirm and/or justify our own secret levels of self-rejection, for one reason, or a hundred. Hell, I remember thinkin' I was bein' socially "devient", when I...

a society without lies, is it possible?

(IMHO) Livin' a life free of lies given, begins with an attitude of willingness to face the truth, in the dark places of our own hearts, of the ways in which we live our lives, those evil ways, an' those less evil. Dependin' on yer own level of personal conviction, 'bout the way in which ya...

    Batchelor Party Comin' Soon!

Ya shouldn't express so much disappointment in somethin' as natural as bein' "old". I mean, I'm sure ya can't be that much older than my Momma, (56). Besides, the furniture is pretty comfy, an' there's a bathroom at each end of the house, very near the sittin' room!:D If ya feel up to...

Do You Care To be Remembered, When You Die?

Seems many folk go to great lengths to do the things which will get others to remember them when they are gone. By the same token, obviuosly, many folks go to great lengths to remember the dearly departed, who may've cared nothing for bein' remembered at all. Do you want other folks to...

    Lookin' For a House.........

I agree with ya Gato, that looks can be deceivin'! In this case, we knew, before we went to look at that house, that it had failed previous inspections. It was our hope that we could at least live in it, while attemptin' to restore it. Jus' dreamin' I guess. What sold us on the whole...

    Lunch today :D

Isn't the cactus plant the basis for the derivitives that produce tequilla? P.S. I rarely drink anything stronger than wine, not that it matters, but Cuervo is a pretty smooth credit to tequilla, considerin' the multitude of other brand options on the market. (IHMO):)

    Lookin' For a House.........

Actually, it turned out that the place has no workin' furnace, well, or electrical. It also has holes in the roof which left puddles of water in very corners, inside. And, Oh the smell:eek: Shouldn't be suprised I guess, "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is", an' it...

Death of a Baby Bunny..........."Hoppy" Died Lastnight.

I think Ris may be right, his momma probably chewed his ears off, but now I wish I could find another one jus' like him.......... Is that kind of wishful thinkin', a part of the grievin' process??(

Is Darkness the Opposite of Light??

I dunno, I kinda tend to think that evil is the absence of good, an' vice-versa, in equal, varying degrees, as with light an' dark. Now, as for light an' dark, although polar "opposites", ie: darkness cannot be defined without the light, no? So far, I thought, cold is absence of heat etc...
