Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds Obama with 42% support and Paul with 41% of the vote. Eleven percent (11%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Seeing his (short) vote record in the Senate, as well as his record in Illinois and listening to him speak & watching his actions & seeing who he associates with...I beleive Ron Paul is still a fool because Obama is a full blown Marxist.

Ron Paul said "we have corporatists inside the Republican party". He did not say the Republican party is full of them.

By the way, I do not subscribe to any political party. I am an independent.

what really would be interesting is for gotholic to explain in detail, with precise language and not relying on thinly nominal logic, how it is that obama is - in a real and substantial sense - a "fascist."
