Looks like PiL has officially been declared dead. I will miss it.

With a wimper and not the roar of the crowds.

I really liked PiL and I'm sorry to see it go. I remember when it began to lose members when "she-who-will-not-be-named" began to drive people off. They never returned... eventually everyone faded off and the board became inactive. I would check it every so many days and find that none of the threads had new posts (except the occasional spam).

... au revoir, PiL...

She who will not be named was a hellova speed bump..but hardly the killing stroke.

No, but she was the cancer that weakened the site. Many (if not most) of the members left and never returned after that, even after she was banned.

Compared to his views I would be his liberal counterpart. I come here once every 3 months out of fond memories so I don't know the regular drama. PM if possible.
