If history is any indication, you have glaciers coming eventually.
That stove is going to get a real workout this winter.
If you'd like I'm more than happy to keep this thread
going ala What the heck?!? Do you live on Venus? (http://www.thepiratefleet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46&page=3&highlight=venus) all winter long.
You know when it's far colder there than my freezer
could ever get, all the while, we go thru the entire
winter without ever reaching 32F
Could the fact that we are at the bottom of solar minimum (http://www.larouchepub.com/other/2009/sci-techs/3615solar_min.html)
have anything to do with the coming diamond hard winter?
It hits 32 in Phoenix. usually about 6:30AM on the school day when the bus is late. A thin layer of ice forms over the gutter water than was deposited by yesterdays lawn watering overflow.
We go through the entire winter without
ever reaching the freeze point.
This is due to the urban heat island effect (http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/local/articles/0922greencolumn0922.html?&wired).
Perhaps center city but in Sunburst Farms, we did
the 'city' is now 120 miles across
Just can't get a winter started here.

a tropical storm moving through here today.

Sunny and warm, 73'
the rain is a little heavier here now, and mild flooding.
The lake here is about 2 inch above flood stage.
At about another 18 inches, and it'll be bad again, but I think it'll carry it ok
tonight with the breaks.
It was hawter than a firecracker here today.
we got about 12" over, but it held good there.
pretty gusty today. we were without power from 2-5am.
Trees down in parts.
pretty good shape overall though.
No freezing temps in sight so far in the ten day.
