View Full Version : Movie club - week 2 - Historical drama
So we have our selections to vote on for the next week. Some of ya'll were less than impressed with the choice of last week so perhaps you could drum up interest for your movie.
Let the voting commence:
Patton
Dangerous Liaisons
Guns of Navarone

Like Rocky, we should probably see them in order.
Henry I
Son of Henry
Bride of Henry
Henry vs. Mothra
Henry V
.... we don't want to lose the character development, do we?
We should make it so you can't vote for the movie you nominated... that way, it wouldn't be just 1 vote for each movie.

There are more people supposedly in this than nominations. Its plenty enough to cause a tiebreaker.
I've only seen shakespear in love, AFAIK it is the one with Gwyneth Paltrow. As for the others, never seen or heard of those.
De tin marin........de do pingüé.....
I thought Rob was joking with his Henry bit.

I'm not. I want to vote for it.
Well then...can someone with some administrative power in this forum add Henry V with Kenneth Branagh to the list?

Gods And Generals. THEN we'd have us a discussion.

Gods and Generals was a little dry for me. I liked (and own) Gettysburg. It shows ted Turner getting slaughtered on screen... thats always worth money.
Nothing to do with anything, but we just watched the Illusionist. It was kinda slow, but it told a good story.
