That Diet Soft drink made by the CocaCola Company that went away for awhile. It is making a come back. I had a craving for it the other day, we bought a 12 pack (the only packaging we could find it in) and I can't stop drinking it! I have had to literally make myself take water breaks before my kidneys shut down.
It seems TAB has jumped on the bad wagon of the "energy drink". Has anyone had it? Is it good? Were you energized?
I thought every can of soda had a tab. ;)

That kinda happens when you add taurine to any mix. It gives everything a harsh edge.

Starya, is your TAB just the basic diet cola, or is it a Red Bull like energy drink?

Wasn't Tab laced with all manner of carcinogens?
Saccharin was supposed to be a carcinogen... in lab rats that were force-fed the equivalent of tons if it a day.

The basic stuff. I only buy it when I enter a store that *shudder* don't sell Pepsi Max.

I'm supposed to steer clear of NutraSweet. Tab was the only diet drink made without it, but for the longest was hard to find around here. Now Coke make a diet with Splenda. I haven't had it. Never seen Tab Xtra

Most diet drinks are nasty beyond nasty. I'll stick with a flavor accented seltzer. 0 calories and no funky aftertaste that resembles envelope glue.

A lot of things are made with splenda now. There's a Nestea Zero here that's sweetened with splenda (0 calories) as well as a whole like of Minute Maid Light juices sweetened with splenda. I don't generally drink cola of any kind so I haven't had the Coke Zero but I do enjoy the SPrite Zero (which is also sweetend with splenda).

Would that be like flavoured fizzy water?? If so I love that stuff. But, all the ones around here have aspartame which I assume is what Red has to stay away from...

Oh the Coke Zero suuuuuuuucks, IMO. Lots of things are starting to be made with Splenda now, but back in the day Tab was it. I guess I just grew a taste for it. So, now I really really like it.
