I bugged out early this morning for a meeting, long before the missus was up, so I'm sans brown bag. While I'l thinking about what to have for lunch, let's hear what the rest of you are having.
Not sure yet. I have to go out, but I may or may not be taking an auditor with me.

Salad... and a bag of baked Cheetos. God I hate trying to lose weight.
(though I may go get a giant chocolate chip cookie at about 3!)

Today is "treat" day (off my diet). I had macaroni and cheese.
No auditor. I just went and got a BLT.

Went for a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings myself. I can hear the arteries clogging.

Damn that sounds good.
Blasting off in about 20 minutes m'self. Likely gonna hit some fast food joint or t'other. For my travel route, my options are McDonald's, Wendy's, Hardee's, and Subway. I'm about burgered out. I'm leaning toward a spicy chicken sammich from Wendy's right now, will likely change my mind half a dozen times before I leave and then go somewhere totally different when the time comes. I'm like that.

Ol' number 6. That's what I usually get there too. Gotta remember one time not to get that in the states, tho. At both the one in GA and the one in NY, it was significantly hotter than the canadian ones. I'm happy enough to not have a hardee's anywhere near. Gawd that was awful (offal? could be)
Wendy's spicy chicken sandwiches are the best. :licklips:
I had a tandoori chicken salad and piece of flat bread from Cosi around an hour ago. I don't normally eat lunch that early, but I didn't have breakfast. Good stuff.

After breakfast hours, Hardee's should just close up and go home.
Mickey Ds is putting out a spicy chicken sammich...anybody had one yet?
I'll probably have taquitos & homemade salsa.
now i want a Wendys spicy chicken sandwich.
having leftover lasagna here

Don't usually have lunch. Prolly have a late brekkie though, at the cafe 'round the corner. They do a mean poached eggs on toast, with oven roasted tomatoes. :licklips:

Hmm... what should I have... thinking... thinking... thinking... thinking... I'll get back to you on that one.
And, just my luck, it settled like a brick.

Tonks and I ate at the Square Bagel. We had Motzah ball soup and potato pancakes with lots of sour cream... oh, and two coffees... oh, and walked away with a dozen apricot rugelach... oh, and I had a package just arrive with 6 pounds of pure maple candies... sluuuurp.

A dozen what?
Apricot rugelach. Jewish little pastry bit :licklips: mine! AAAAAAALLLL MINE!

A sweet filling wrapped up into a flaky pastry and baked almost as hard as a cookie. Theyre about as big as your thumb.
I baked some chocolate rugelach just the other day.
That's my third favorite!
I baked them for a person with nut (and everything else) allergies. I had only previously baked the traditional kind with apricot preserves, walnuts and raisins. Mine had seeded raspberry preserves (he's allergic to seeds as well), semisweet chocolate chips, cinnamon and large sugar crystals for crunch. They will now become a staple in my baking repertoire. :nerd:

Ended up going to Subway for a steak and cheese and ordered a meatball sub. I'm like that.

chocolate rugelach
I thought the chocolate rugelach at Cafe Lalo was good and then last week we bought some from Fairway (boo, there's one on Bwy and one on 12th Ave) and it wins hands-down. Not too sugary, but very large pieces. Fresh baked that day. Damn it was good.
On Friday I had...some wheat thins around lunch time cause I was stuck in class...I then had an early dinner of Kraft Dinner shortly after I got home...and that was all...my evening consumption was alcohol based.
Today I had breakfast at lunch time and it was a flax bagel with ranch cream cheese...for dinner will probably have left over ham from Thursday night's dinner. YUMMY!
So turns out I'm having homemade pizza for dinner...I used some of the left over ham as topping...aswell as pepperoni with the cheese and sauce :)
It's baking now, YUMMY

Same noodle stuff that resembles liquid fire in your gut, or have you moved on?
I got a can of something or other here I'll ingest and call it lunch shortly.

Oh hell no. This is the stuff I buy. Bought a mixed case yesterday. Today's is roast pork (flavoured). Others are chicken, and beef.
Calamari and tiramisu.

Well, I know squid, but what's the tiramisu. I won't ask why the punishment.
Hey, I like squid, when it's done properly.

I had squid twice in one sitting. The first time, and the last time. A 'friend' took us to a chinese restaurant in chinatown. Or old montreal. Against my own better judgement, I opted to try it. It most closely resembled chewing a radial tire that had just been driven up a dirt road.
I'll warrant that it probably could be better cooked, seasoned and served, but as long as cows walk the earth, I'll have no inclination to discover it.
and the desert looked super, until I read the ingredients. I don't eat anything with any kind of sweet, soft cheese in it. cheesecake included.
Good thing you weren't with me, then. :D

Ooh, now I have a craving for korean bbq squid.... ::drool:: If it's cooked right, it should be really tender.
I haven't had breakie yet, might think about an early brunch type thing.

I have the same thing for lunch pratically every day. Mand. Chicken Salad from Wendys. I am addicted to them! I only change it up when I go for sushi or home for lunch. Guess I'm kinda boring in the noon hour.
Hi, my name is Alex, I'm trying to break my hot wings addiction.
I LOVE calamari
Yesterday I got taken out to lunch and had fish and chips.
Today I've packed a left over lunch of pasta salad, potato salad and a piece of SPAM. That was from dinner two nights ago but I kinda made big salads so they need to be eatten (last night we had salad and chicken breast). I'll also bring a banana and if I have time I'm gonna cut up an apple and take with me for a snack at some point.
Calamari Damacy is a great little PS2 game... :lloyd:
