Ok that plug is a screw on the motherboard. I need to get it off.
It and five others.
Pliers? Squeeze together the prongs while gently lifting, or pushing, at the same time.

Shows what I know bout motherboards..... :D
I suppose if you could get the board into a stable and secure position to use a dremel tool, you could use that at a low speed to hollow out the screw so you could then push it out.

if that isn't glue underneath, yes. A flat works just as well in a star most of the time.

I've had to improvise all the time. For a screwdriver, I've used several things, a dime, butter knife, razor blade (as long as it doesn't break), nail clippers, scissors, spoons, and I'm sure there's more. I need new tools, or at least keep them where I can find them. :o
I've used a dime and a pair of pliers. You use what you can to get it to work. :)
Ain't that the truth. Nowadays I have some fabrication tools so I can usually make what I don't have. :nerd:
