6and made* (javascript:void(0);) us to be a kingdom, priests serving* (javascript:void(0);) his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
7Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen.

8 ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega’, says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

9 I, John, your brother who share with you in Jesus the persecution and the kingdom and the patient endurance, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.* (javascript:void(0);) 10I was in the spirit* (javascript:void(0);) on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11saying, ‘Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.’

12 Then I turned to see whose voice it was that spoke to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and in the midst of the lampstands I saw one like the Son of Man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash across his chest. 14His head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire, 15his feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters.

Maybe a stretch considering the source :D

:rofl: and then, Maybe not so?

:hmm: Then perhaps that means that 'GOD', (if the pervading theories about intelligent design are correct)- is actually a massive motherboard???

Ok that plug is a screw on the motherboard. I need to get it off.

Pliers? Squeeze together the prongs while gently lifting, or pushing, at the same time.

If it's a screw, perhaps a flat blade screwdriver?

I suppose if you could get the board into a stable and secure position to use a dremel tool, you could use that at a low speed to hollow out the screw so you could then push it out.

Can't you just use a flathead screwdriver?

Leslie
2/04/05, 09:25pm
if that isn't glue underneath, yes. A flat works just as well in a star most of the time.

*says the one who uses a butterknife as a screwdriver*

I've used a dime and a pair of pliers. You use what you can to get it to work. :)

*has used a cable box as a light switch before*

I've had to improvise all the time. For a screwdriver, I've used several things, a dime, butter knife, razor blade (as long as it doesn't break), nail clippers, scissors, spoons, and I'm sure there's more. I need new tools, or at least keep them where I can find them. :o

Ain't that the truth. Nowadays I have some fabrication tools so I can usually make what I don't have. :nerd:
