Oh - I forgot to post some:
Waits at the window, wearing a face she keeps in a jar by the door,
Who is it for?
That would be the Beatles' Eleanor Rigby.
Now, try this:
There is no escape
And that's for sure
This is the end
We won't take any more

Wow.... it must be great to have some musical knowledge...
Either that or brilliant googling skills!
I only googled it to make sure I was right. If I'd googled in the first place before making my guess, I wouldn't have posted because that's cheating.

Free For All, The one and only Nuge...good tune.
OK, a bit more obscure maybe.
"Midnight, gettin' uptight, so where are you?
You said you'd meet me, now it's quarter til two..."
A "bit" more obscure?
I know it, but let's give someone else a shot. ;)

Beats me then. I was thinking Springsteen.
My bad....but I be right, though? Is it my turn?
You know, I did find it odd that you would pick a JCM tune.

Yes'm, you be correct.

Nothing really against him, his bass player when he first hit it and I played in rival bands together at one time. His cover of Wild Night pales in comparison to the Van Morrison version though. Saw Van play it live once. Pee Wee Ellis was playing sax and he practically stole the show with a killer sax solo.
"...it's so PC it's killing me so desperately I'll sing to you of love- sure, but also rage and hate and pain and fear of self and I can't keep these feelings on the shelf..."
Heh. That's in my MP3 mix on my Ipod for the gym. :D
I figured it was too easy but apparently I was too difficult last time ;)
Evidently this tread is just for a few of us, isn't it.

I'm at the Marriott. Gotta be in the ballroom in about an hour. Same tomorrow then drive back to the 'Boro Sunday. I knew there was a good reason to not start playing regularly again.
Just went to Jerry Sullivan's Steakhouse (est. 1872) for dinner. Excellent french dip.
