He was acquitted of sexual assault more than a decade ago, but now another woman is accusing WILLIAM KENNEDY SMITH of rape and is slapping him with a civil suit. A statement from the International Rehabilitation Center, which Smith leads, says the allegations are "outrageous, untrue and without merit." Smith testified that the sex was consensual, adding in a statement that, "Unfortunately, my family and my personal history have made me unusually vulnerable to these kinds of allegations." The woman, a former personal assistant of Kennedy Smith's, claims he assaulted her in 1999 after a night of drinking and continued to contact her after the event. She and her attorney are expected to comment to the press later today.
